Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Nurse (RN or LPN) to support the health and well-being of residents in our group home. This role is responsible for overseeing medication administration, monitoring residents’ health conditions, responding to minor medical issues, and coordinating care when additional medical attention is required.

The ideal candidate is organized, attentive, and experienced in providing care to individuals who may require daily health support in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and manage resident medications according to physician orders and care plans.
• Monitor residents for changes in health, behavior, or physical condition.
• Provide basic medical care for minor ailments, injuries, and ongoing health concerns.
• Maintain accurate medication and health records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, and healthcare providers as needed.
• Assist with scheduling medical appointments and follow-up care
• Train or support direct care staff on medication protocols when appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and follow established procedures.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in good standing
• Experience with medication administration and patient health monitoring
• Experience in group homes, residential care, behavioral health, or similar settings preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with care staff
• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred or required depending on facility)
